Why do you say "Hova való vagy?"

Hova indicates direction, isn't it?

It's not. It means "Where do you belong?" literally, and used to ask "Where are
you from?" But I don't know why.

I wonder if the recent ratting and subsequent dismissal of a frequent
Hungarian Internet contributor has anything to do with the sudden lull
in this (and other) Hungary related Internet forums.  Or is it just the 
beginning of summer vacations?  Probably a combination of the two.  I know 
of at least one person, who decided not to post until he can get a private
account, as he did not want to suffer the fate of the dismissed
contributor, posting his controversial articles from his employer's
account.

I wonder what, if any, policies exist in ".edu" institutions regarding
the use of their networks and computer resources for private purposes.
Could it be that good old M. O. Dima's account (and perhaps job) was
also terminated because of his strange views?  Of course, I understand
that in cases like this the official reason given for the dismissal is
not the views themselves, but the illegal use of employer's resources.
However, the use of such resources is usually scrutinized only after
some political opponent (usually a follower of the politically correct
line) rats on the guy to his employers.

yesterday's omri review carries a report from a meeting of the hungarian
world congress in budapest.   the attendees have laughed out the prime 
minister, and attacked once again the slovak-hungarian treaty.   i

The "arrol" is a word. The base word is "az" translates into  English as "that"
. "Arrol" means 

"from that" or "about that" in Hungarian.Just as an additional interest "ez" me
ans "this" and 

"errol" means "from or about that". Note that the Hungarian accent mark above t
he letter"o" is  

missing in my replay. In the Hungarian language you have to conjugate every wor
d,  so that is 

one of the reason, that it is difficult for a non native speaker to find the ba
se word.
