Don't get so excited, Marius! Where did I say *I* believed that rumor?
I only never heard it from the "horse's mouth" yet, so to speak.
But in a way, it was fun to watch your reaction when I rattled that
chain.

And I'm sure you'll provide the Pavlovian reflex.

Well, I wasn't excited at all. Just wanted to make some fun. :-) OTOH,
why did you brought into discussion that rumor if you didn't believed it
a little bit true: "who knows?!" ? If one knows that an assumption is
not
true (with certitude), then is senseless to use the assumption.

Well, I was curious to find out what was in your mind when you quoted
once more that rumor, after some months. From a logical point of view.
It has nothing to do with a "reflex" - that's why I mentioned from the
very beginning our previous short thread on the issue. I recall even
from that thread that you agreed the rumour was most probably an unsub-
stantiated one. I thought that you found some other informations to
support the rumor - but you didn't provided them.

Hehe, here you are wrong. As said, it wasn't Pavlovian reflex or so.
No, Joe, relax. If you'll ask again about the supposed Nadia's Csango
origin, I'll deduce at least one of these assumptions:
 1. you want to induce a "chain reaction" (for fun or something
similar);
 2. you are not a well-intentioned partner of discussion;
 3. you have some problems with your synapses.
The first point seems to be the most probable - nevertheless, in all
cases (be it 1, 2 or 3) it won't worth a supplementary answer from my
part. :-)
 So have a nice day!

Well Joe, it seems there is an impressive similarity of opinions, even
when coming from a "self-described Csango" and not from me or G.
Waiting with interest next summer when one will see someone on scm and
scr asking: "did you heard that rumor about Nadia being of Csango ori-
gin?!" :-)
 Have a nice day.

I appreciate Mr. Kowalski's objective information on the Romanian
election. Keep up the good work!

Rom: Coman from Cuman, which in Hungarian is Kun (as how Cumania Mare
is Nagykonya). Why Cuman/Kun? The history answers itself. Nadia is not csango
by any means, anyway.

Probably not. Here at the U of A, e.g., although it is not taught
(yet?), it naturally hangs with the Department of Romance Languages. In the US,
however, it is easy to put either Hungarian or Romanian among the Slavic
languages.
